By using this service, you the customer confirm that you accept these terms and conditions and agree to abide by them.
The service is owned and operated by the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA), an Executive Agency of the Department for Transport.
Access to the Service
This service allows individuals to apply to change the address details on a Vehicle Registration Certificate (V5C) online. In the future, additional services and features may be added.
You should only attempt to access this service if you are authorised to do so i.e. you are the registered keeper of the vehicle or are a vehicle trader and have the consent of the current vehicle keeper.
You will need the vehicle registration number, the 11 digit reference number from the latest Vehicle Registration Certificate (V5C) and post code in order to access this service.
This service will be accessible to all individuals who wish to apply to change the address on a Vehicle Registration Certificate (V5C) from 7am to 8pm. (including weekends and bank holidays)
Costs
There will be no cost associated with this service.
Termination
DVLA reserve the right to withdraw this service at any point and without prior notice.
Continuity of service
Where possible, DVLA will use reasonable endeavours to ensure that there is no break in the continuity of service and will only make changes when required. Outages may be required on occasions where essential upgrades to the service need to be implemented.

If you the customer misuse the service by knowingly introducing viruses, trojans, worms, logic bombs or other material which is malicious or technologically harmful, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the service or any server, computer or database connected to DVLA, attack our service via a denial-of-service attack or a distributed denial-of-service attack, you the customer would commit a criminal offence under the Computer Misuse Act 1990. DVLA will report any such breach to the relevant law enforcement authorities and will co-operate with those authorities by disclosing your identity to them.
